no, i want to be
the queen “Ser Loras!” Margaery called obnoxiously from down the hall before approaching her brother. “Are you ready?” The two were going to have another day together. It was rare since they got to King’s Landing. It was odd since back in their home they only spent time with each other. Well she spent time with him and Olenna, but still she didn’t get a lot of time spend with either one of them lately. And it wasn’t exactly just the two of them. Margaery was still unclear as to why Lord Tyrion had his little helper accompany them but he did. And the woman really didn’t mind all that much. Podrick seemed like a nice boy and seemed well liked by Lord Tyrion and Ser Bronn. So he shouldn’t be that much of a problem. “Can we not go anywhere near the garden today? I swear if I see that place one more time I might scream.” Yes, like she had the same opinion as Olenna. Just because they were from Highgarden. Did not mean they wanted to spend all of their days in a damn garden. No no. Other than that Margaery really had no other requests. She was pretty much for anything at this point. “Where do you think we should go Podrick?” Margaery asked, giving the other a charming smile. She figured being nice to him wouldn’t hurt. After he’s done nothing to her and she was still technically trying to charm the pants off of everyone in the castle. Not literally of course. Of course they didn’t have to stay in the castle. There was the town around them. And well, all the peasants and smallfolk loved Margaery, so it would be safe for them to travel outside. And if things got rough they had Loras, she had faith in her brother’s skills. She had seen them enough in person.

”Ser Loras!” Loras turned around and gave his sister an obnoxious grin as she caught up to him. ”Are you ready?” ”I am!" he replied, adding almost pridefully "Grandmother didn’t even make me study any cards.” Because you know by this point the woman clearly had to coach him on how not to get himself killed. Loras was very excited to spend a day with his sister without anyone else on their backs. It seemed like something they hadn’t done since leaving Highgarden. The two of them quickly met up with Tyrion's squire and revealed that they hadnt planned out their day in the least. ”Can we not go anywhere near the garden today? I swear if I see that place one more time I might scream.” Loras chuckled, but nodded in agreement. ”If we could also avoid anywhere that Cersei may have breathed,” you know.. it would be nice. Loras really just didn’t want to deal with any of the…. Noble people. He needed a break from the noble people. He’d lost count of all the fake smiles and I’m-secretly-plotting-your-death stares he’d gotten in the last week. Mostly from their future family. Fortunately, the boy who was accompanying them seemed like a genuinely nice fellow. And they could do to have a friend like that. ”Where do you think we should go Podrick?” ”That’s right, you’ve been around here longer than us both. What do you like to do for fun?”

i didn't wanna be the first to say everyone around here thinks you're cray-zy
Podrick was slightly concerned. Apparently these people needed to be supervised and Podrick wasn’t really an authority figure… at all… so he didn’t really know what Tyrion was thinking but he trusted him and so he was doing it. He was meeting these two people that he associated with Joffrey and Cersei and he wasn’t looking forward to it. He figured he could just kind of become invisible after a while and then things wouldn’t be so bad. He could do it. For Tyrion, he could.
Shockingly it didn’t take long for Pod to realize that he’d been wrong about them. As soon as they met up, both Margaery and Loras were very friendly. The boy was relieved. He chuckled as the two interacted. I swear if I see that place one more time I might scream. If we could also avoid anywhere that Cersei may have breathed, Pod grinned, approving of that plan very much. He wouldn’t want to catch Cersei. Though he was caught very off-guard when the siblings addressed him. Where do you think we should go Podrick? What do you like to do for fun? He glanced up at them, momentarily surprised that they’d asked. ”Um—“ He wasn’t really good at fun without Tyrion and Bronn’s help. He responded cautiously. ”I like to read, mostly. I know that’s not helpful—but I prefer to keep myself unseen.” Trouble followed him everywhere and he didn’t like to be screamed at by psychotic royal people.

the queen If we could also avoid anywhere that Cersei may have breathed. Margaery nodded in agreement. “Yes I think I need a break from my future…mother-in-law…sister-in-law…?” Yes it was a confusing situation. Margaery was to marry Cersei’s son, Joffrey. And her brother over here was to marry Cersei. So Margaery really wasn’t sure what titles everyone was going to have once all these marriages were over. Not to mention Margaery was pretty sure Cersei was plotting her death. The blonde woman was awfully mean to Margaery and really the girl didn’t do anything. It wasn’t like she could marry her own son, that would just be weird and not at all psychologically okay. But whatever. The point was that Margaery was fine with going anywhere as long as she didn’t run into her future family, much like the other two. Margaery smiled at Pod, waiting for his response to their questions. I like to read, mostly. I know that’s not helpful—but I prefer to keep myself unseen. Well that’s rather boring. “Well reading is…” Margaery searched for a word. Reading was okay, but after being forced to read things her entire life Margaery was prefer not to read when she had free time. “We could race boats!” Because they were allowed to mess around with the boats. They weren’t being used for anything! So they were perfectly good to use. Whether the knights needed them later was another story. But they would surely return them in one piece.

”Yes I think I need a break from my future…. mother-in-law… sister-in-law…?” Loras grimaced. ”Please.. just… don’t.” He didn’t want to talk about it. He didn’t even want to think about it. The Lannisters had no concept of an inappropriate sibling relationship. And they were slightly terrifying. So it really just wasn’t a fun combination. ”I like to read, mostly.” “Well reading is…” ”Not very fun, no offence.” Loras stating jokingly when his sister struggled for the more polite word. Though Loras didn’t blame the other boy for liking to keep out of everyone’s way. He just didn’t have the attention span for books. ”We could race boats!” ”Yes!” That was a brilliant idea. ”I know where they are,” Loras proclaimed proudly, though really, they were boats so they weren’t exactly difficult to miss. "And how to get there without breaking a window." He grinned at his sister mischievously. No, she was never going to live that down. He led them outside, glancing at Podrick because the boy didn’t seem to know how to speak without an invitation. ”Have you ever done this before, Podrick?” He figured that was a no.
