are you staring at me ass, jon snow?
“I’m pretty sure you have no idea where you are going,” Ygritte commented for probably the third time in the last hour. This crow was lost and until he untied her, she wasn’t helping him. The girl glanced to the side, yea she was pretty sure they past that rock six times already. The red head let out a loud sigh and sat herself down on the ground. She wasn’t going anywhere until he knew what he was doing. And that was probably going to be a very long time. Crows, think they know everything and the moment they are over the wall they get lost. They just needed to stop. This was the free folk’s land anyways. Granted the free folk were trying to leave it as well. But hey at least they had a plan and knew a little bit about the land over the wall. Okay that was a small lie, but this Jon Snow didn’t need to know that. “If you untie me I will help.” Granted she was going to lead him straight into the wilding camp but hey at least he would no longer be lost. “Come on,” Ygritte taunted, shaking her tied wrists in the air. “What? Is the big bad crow scared of a woman?” See, they weren’t that tough. Having to tie up a woman. Okay so Ygritte wasn’t like a normal woman. Or what this Jon Snow would consider a normal woman. He had every right to tie her up. That didn’t mean she didn’t need to go quietly or behave. You know she was basically not making this trip any easier for him. And Ygritte would feel a little bad about it, if he didn’t try to kill her and tie her up. It was just her way of getting even.

funny the things you thought youd never miss
in a world gone crazy as this
”I’m pretty sure you have no idea where you are going.” Jon took a deep breath, willing himself to ignore the woman’s comments. They’d been walking or hours and Ygritte was right about one thing, Jon had no idea where they were. He had been hoping if he stayed quiet she would get bored of antagonizing him, but she still seemed very much entertained. He pulled on the rope that he was holding her by roughly, continuing the trudge through the snow. ”If you untie me I will help.” ”I don’t need your help.” He wasn’t stupid. He knew that if he let her go she was only going to lead him into a trap. None the less, the goading was getting to him. ”Come on, what? Is the big bad crow scared of a woman?” ”If I let you go what are you going to do? Listen to me?” He rolled his eyes. She didn’t even do that when she was tied up. ”I’m not scared of you. I just don’t trust you.” He was starting to wonder why he’d even spared her life to begin with. If he hadn’t, he wouldn’t be in this mess right now.

I don’t need your help. “Denial. I heard that was a common trait you crows share.” Ygritte was very nonchalant about the whole thing. The woman was not very angry about the situation. More annoyed, but she knew she could get out of it. And if she couldn’t, annoying the crow was the next best thing. So ignoring her was not going to work. She was like a child, not giving her attention didn’t work and giving her attention will not work. She was going to act this way no matter what this Jon Snow did. Ygritte felt him tug on the rope and she understandably tugged back. She was not moving from her spot. If they were going to keep walking, they were going to walk in the right direction. None of this wondering aimlessly around anymore. If I let you go what are you going to do? Listen to me? “Probably not. Listening to you will probably get us lost or killed,” Ygritte was going to answer truthfully. Lying probably would have been smarter, but Ygritte didn’t like lying and wasn’t too terribly good at it. “But I promise not to run…or try to kill you…again.” Though she would think about it. And she was hoping since she didn’t lie to him before than he would know she’s not lying now. She knew where the others were so they could just kill him. Technically she didn’t have to do anything except get him to untie her and let her lead the way. Good faith, that’s what the southerners called it.I’m not scared of you. I just don’t trust you. “Liar,” the woman blurted out. Okay so the not trusting part was more than likely true but the not scared of her part. Yea that was a lie.

”Denial. I heard that was a common trait you crows share.” ”And I heard that all you wildings are defiant and irritating. You haven’t done a very good job proving me wrong.” If anything, Ygritte had only reaffirmed everything Jon was told about them. He looked at her with exasperation when she tugged on the ropes. Regardless of whether or not they were going the right way standing the in middle of nowhere wasn’t the solution to their issue. ”Listening to you will probably get us lost or killed.” ”You’re not helping yourself.” ”But I promise not to run.. or try to kill you…again.” Jon rolled his eyes. ”Thanks, but no thanks.” Shockingly he didn’t really believe her. And he already had a guaranteed way of keeping her from running or trying to kill him. He pulled the rope again, harder his time, starting to walk again. He was stronger than her so ultimately she was going to need to try something else. ”Liar.” Okay.. that was something else. Jon glared, though she couldn't see his face, and again tried to ignore her. It would take a while before he learned that that was a lost cause.

And I heard that all you wildings are defiant and irritating. You haven’t done a very good job proving me wrong. “Annnnnnd….?” Ygritte questioned drawling out the word. She didn’t know if that was an insult, compliment, or what. If the wildings were followers and cooperative they wouldn’t be around for much longer with these southerners at their border. They already took most of their lands and the wildings were themselves. If they tamed now than they might as well surrender. And like hell that will happen. All she was doing was point out a personality trait, one that hindered his survival. Clearly. You’re not helping yourself. “I was being honest, isn’t that a good thing?” Ygritte questioned like the crow was stupid. Because he was. He should listen to her, she knew the way to go and how they could survive. All she wanted was her freedom. Thanks, but no thanks. “Fine.” Ygritte wasn’t scared about death, she faced it head on. If this was her time then it was her time. Though that didn’t mean she was going to go kicking and screaming. He tugged the rope harder which made Ygritte jolt forward slightly. Jon Snow began walking forward, Ygritte glared at him. Ygritte walked for a few seconds, seeming to be cooperative before tugging hard on the rope and lunging forward. She rammed into him with her whole body weight, hoping to knock him to the ground.

"Annnnnnnd…?" "And you don't care," Jon muttered, not even sure why he was bothering to engage in conversation with the woman. Oh that was right.. because they were the only two people within miles of frozen wasteland. Yup, that was it. "I was being honest, isn't that a good thing?" "You're being antagonizing" and he didn't appreciate it, though Jon refrained from saying that part out loud, not wanting her to think she'd won. They managed to walk for a short amount of time before Ygritte threw herself forward, causing Jon to stumble and glare at her. "Do you want to just sit here?" he asked, as if he was talking to a small child. Because if she kept this up that was what they were going to end up doing.

And you don’t care. No, no she didn’t. Ygritte cared about very few things in life. Herself, herself, some of the wildings, and herself. That pretty much covered that. Even in the middle of an icy nowhere didn’t change that. You’re being antagonizing. “Well I have nothing else to do,” Ygritte muttered. Okay so she was being antagonizing in hopes he would attack and she would be able to escape. So it was a plan for freedom, which is something she would do even if they were in the middle of a city. However boredom was part of it. After all they weren’t in the middle of a big city to use other tactics. And Jon was clearly not enjoying this tactic. Do you want to just sit here? “What I want is for you to untie me. What I want is to not be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a crow.” What she wanted, he couldn’t give her or wouldn’t give her. So why should she make this trip easy for him?
