funny the things you thought youd never miss
in a world gone crazy as this
Jon really didn’t understand why Arya had to learn to sew if she didn’t want to. Their father had tried to explain to him that if was her job, the same as it was his to learn a sword, but Jon liked learning how to use a sword, so it really wasn’t very similar at all. And that was why he had decided that he needed to go rescue her from her lessons today. He’d thought of a few different ways to do it, but ultimately he figured the best way would probably be the one that didn’t involve climbing out of any windows (they could do that later). He walked into the room quietly just as his sister was being berated for something she’d done wrong. (It was really no wonder she wasn’t enjoying herself.) In his most polite voice he asked the woman in charge if he could borrow his sister, explaining that Arya was being looked for by another one of their teachers. When she took her eyes off him to glance at the girl, Jon winked, smiling innocently when she turned to him again. He couldn’t tell if she was irritated or relieved to be rid of the girl, but she let her go with him, Jon waiting until the door was closed behind them and they were out of earshot before breaking into grin. ”I don’t think she’s going to miss you too much.” he teased, before wrinkling his nose. ”She smiles less than Master Rodrick.” That shouldn't even have been physically possible.

fear cuts deeper Arya was being berated again, for god knows what now. Really the girl lost track of what she kept doing wrong. Truly though it was like she could not please this woman. Granted Arya never tried. But hey when you are mean and rude, you get no effort. That’s how Arya saw it. But anyway, yes she was being berated again. And her parents wondered why she hated these lessons. Okay it had more so to do with her finding the useless and not fun, but you know the senseless yelling didn’t really help. The girl was crossing her eyes, out of boredom and because she was told to stop rolling her eyes. Arya barely noticed Jon walk into the room until he spoke to her teacher. Arya went to smile at him until she heard why he was here, someone else was looking for her. And honestly if it wasn’t Jon or Ned, it wasn’t good. This time Arya rolled her eyes as the teacher glanced at her. The little girl barely caught the wink from her brother, but she did catch it. And it was received with a confused look. Was he bailing her out? Of course he was! Anyone who wanted to give her a lecture would have sent one of her parents or Robb, not Jon. But the teacher didn’t seem to realize this and let her go with him. Arya tried to not appear too happy about this but of course failed miserably. She practically skipped out of the room, grinning at her brother once the door was shut. I don’t think she’s going to miss you too much. “She’s not going to miss me at all,” Arya corrected him, letting out a laugh. She smiles less than Master Rodrick. “I think I do that to her…oh well.” Arya shrugged her tiny shoulders nonchalantly. It was true, Arya probably brought out the worse in the woman. “Thanks for coming to my rescue!” She cheered, spring up. “We should go do something before moth---my mother finds out.” The girl momentarily forgetting they don’t share a mom. Something everyone but Arya seemed to care about. Jon and her shared the awesome parent, that was good enough for her. Arya jumped up and clung to Jon’s back. She pointed forward with a mischievous grin. “Onward!”

”Stop smiling,” Jon whispered as he took his sister’s hand and she practically skipped out of the room. He spared a glance back to make sure they weren’t being watched before grinning as well. He was happy that his plan to free Arya worked. He was bored and he knew that the girl couldn’t have been enjoying herself so… it was a win win for them both. ”She’s not going to miss me at all.” Apparently it was a win for a lot of people. Jon laughed, ”Good. Maybe she won’t tell Catelyn then.” It was a long shot, but it certainly would have made their lives easier. The woman was not going to be happy. ”I think I do that to her.. oh well.” He smirked. Arya did that to a lot of people. He didn’t understand it because she was his favorite person to be around but… other people were weird. ”Thanks for coming to my rescue!” ”Any time,” he assured. He nodded when she said that they should go and do something, very much in agreement. ”What do you want to do?” She jumped on his back and Jon laughed. "We could play a prank on Theon."

fear cuts deeper Good. Maybe she won’t tell Catelyn then. “Even if she does, I know I few hiding spots.” You know places they can stay in until her mother was less angry or dead. And considering their world the latter would probably happen before the former. Not saying Arya wanted her mother to die. No that was the last thing she wanted. She was just saying that her mother would probably die before her anger subsides. But hey at least Arya had some hiding spots. And she was willing to share those locations with Jon. He was her favorite after all. What do you want to do? “Hmmmm,” Arya hummed trying to think of who they should terrorize today. Arya scrunched her nose up as she thought. But before she could come up with anything Jon spoke up. We could play a prank on Theon. “Yesssssss,” Arya whispered with excitement, giving her brother a mischievous grin. “We haven’t done anything to him in a while!” Sansa was usually the one they targeted. Oh occasion it would be Theon or Robb. But it was mostly Sansa.

"Even if she does, I know a few hiding spots." "Good, we might need those." Jon said, not even bothering to pretend that he didn't think this would come back to bite them. It would, it usually did, but he intended on enjoying it as much as possible until that happened. And really, it was Theon, so it wasn't like they were going to have to worry about the guy getting back at him. "We haven't done anything to him in a while!" "He's probably let his guard down." This was going to be fun.
